Apparatus for Assisting a Heart

 

The heart is an important organ that, in addition to pumping blood, has a
complex electrical system. Studies have shown a correlation between the
heart and its EKG and other organs, such as the brain and its EEG, and other
organs. Certain types of devices, such as artificial hearts, replace the
heart and with this the electrical signals are lost. This patent teaches
ways to identify, record and emulate biological signals to enable sustaining
the electrical output of organs such as the heart when they may be impaired
or replaced.
